CAVINO

From Greece. Across to 55 countries.

Greek wine has a story of its own.
We are here to tell it.

It began with a vineyard in Achaia. Today, the CAVINO Group brings Greek wine to 55 countries. Behind this achievement lies a 68-year journey, shaped by many people and one shared conviction: that Greek wine has a place of its own in the world, and we are here to prove it

Today, the CAVINO Group connects places, estates and people, from the mountain slopes of Aigialeia to the Kalavryta gorge, and from the heart of Nemea to the volcanic soils of Santorini.

Each place has its own soul. Each bottle has its own story.

Cavino

It all began

in 1958, in Aigio, Achaia. Konstantinos Anastasiou and Ioannis Douskas turned their vision into reality, drawing on Aigialeia’s exceptional wine-growing landscape. On the slopes where the mountains meet the sea, a unique microclimate and fertile, mineral-rich soil create conditions for indigenous varieties such as Roditis, Lagorthi, Mavrodaphne and Mavro Kalavritino. International varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Chardonnay, have adapted seamlessly to the region’s terroir to the region’s terroir. Since 1969, the CAVINO Group has focused exclusively on winemaking, bottling quality wines, and producing ouzo and spirits. Ever since, it has continued to strengthen its presence in Greece and international markets.

PRODUCTION DATA

Quality is not a matter of chance. It is a choice.

From the selection of raw materials to bottling, every stage matters.
Because quality is built step by step.

At the CAVINO Group, every stage of production is a conscious decision. Stainless-steel tanks with cooling systems maintain stable fermentation temperatures, while underground climate-controlled cellars allow wines to age under controlled conditions in small French oak barrels. Automated bottling lines and controlled storage facilities complete a production process built to exacting standards. State-of-the-art technology serves one simple principle: every bottle that leaves our facilities must be the best it can be.

Specialist agronomists oversee all vineyards, both company-owned and partner-operated, ensuring that only grapes of exceptional quality reach the winery. Supporting them is a fully organised team of scientific, technical and administrative professionals who regard excellence as a starting point, not a goal.

The combination of advanced technology, passion and expertise ensures the production of high-quality certified wines.
